Welcome to "The Real Dirt"

The Oklahoma County Master Gardener Member Site has finally arrived! Along with our new site comes a new blog, The Real Dirt. Like an overdue baby there have and will be some birthing pains as we begin to use the OKMasterGardener website. It is our hope this site will provide a central hub for members to communicate, provide timely information, and most of all keep things simple and fun! The OKMasterGardener member website is a fully private site. Only members of our organization can access and/or view the pages and information within the site. That means any photos, directory information, forms or other content is not accessible via a web search or by the public. Our current OKState site continues to remain available for the public to view. A "Members Only" link will be added to the OKState site as an alternate way for you to return to OKMasterGardener.com in the future. Take some time and look around. I think you will like the ease of recording your hours, searching volunteer opportunities, registering for events, viewing the calender, and having quick access to the Member Directory. Additionally, you have OSU Fact Sheets and other gardening resources all easily accessible from within the site. Come back and read The Real Dirt to see our MG members featured, stories come alive, and garden tips and treasures shared. Future site development includes our online store for t-shirts and apparel, individual member profile pages, and a few other surprises. As we continue to test the functionality of our new website, new ideas and ways to best use the site will continue to develop. If you have an idea, please share your thoughts with us.
