Student, Intern, and Certified Members Training and Background Requirements

All Master Gardeners, except for Emeritus and currently Inactive, are required: 

to pay their yearly fee; 

complete Working with Minors and Civil Rights training; and 

report their 30 service and 10 education hours on or before December 31st.

An OSU program, Z-Suites, Minor's and Civil Rights training using the 4-H Clover Academy. 

​

Background checks are required every 4 years. OSU hired a third-party, Sterling, to provide this service.
